Since the year 1925, the importance of family and history has prevailed at the Enzian Hotel in Zürs. The job of maintaining a lodging property in the fourth generation is not an easy one, but for 90 years it has been a labor of love for the Elsensohn Family.

We are looking forward to welcome you.
In what way can we help you next?
The Enzian Guesthouse opened its doors in 1925. It was built by Tobias Elsensohn on the site of an Alpine Pasture Hut. Business was interrupted by the war, and, following the early death of his father, Johann Elsensohn took over Enzian Guesthouse. He and his wife, Liesl, have worked diligently to improve the business. The Enzian would not have survived all these years without the Elsensohns hard work and dedication.
Their son Richard and his wife, Irene, joined the family business and made numerous major improvements to the Hotel. They have gone a long way to make guests feel at home. The prevailing atmosphere at The Enzian is that of a welcoming home where families gather, friendships grow, and the fine art of hospitality is as inviting as the smiles are genuine. Preserving tradition, service, and friendliness are foremost for our guests. Richard’s and Irene’s daughters Marion, Claudia and Nicole have finished their education and soon the hotel will being managed by the fourth generation.
Our staff is well-versed in the tradition of this great hotel.
With this in mind, the Enzian Hotel is
“PROUD OF ITS PAST AND LOOKS FORWARD TO THE FUTURE”.
Passionate Tradition – Charming Innovation.
That’s the Enzian Way.
